Official Jackson County criminal records come from the government office that created or maintains them. Court documents belong with the Clerk of Circuit Court, sheriff reports and jail records belong with the Sheriff's Office, and statewide criminal-history responses come from Wisconsin DOJ. Use the verified Black River Falls contacts below to reach the proper custodian.

This Is Not a Government Office. Jackson County Criminal History is a private reference site. We cannot obtain, change, certify, or remove a government record, perform an official check, or accept an expungement filing.

  • State criminal-history responses: Wisconsin Department of Justice, Crime Information Bureau, through the Wisconsin Online Record Check System
  • Sex offender registry concerns: Wisconsin DOC Registry Program, 608-240-5830, or Safe Tip Line 1-877-234-0085
  • City police reports: contact the police agency that created the report; later county booking does not make the sheriff the custodian of a city report

The sheriff accepts written requests by email, U.S. mail, fax, or in person. The court clerk supplies filed complaints, judgments, and sentencing papers; WCCA does not provide the underlying documents. Confirm costs and counter availability before travel or payment.
